  9. Hi,WinSpan is a commercial product from Instittue for
  10. Information Industry,Taiwan. It support Winsock interface.
  11. But I think its application is good but NOT VERY GOOD except
  12. the FTP which support 2-remote-site file transfer 
  13. and good user internace. Telnet provide Chinese code convert.
  14. Based on their previous product,WinNet,now talk is provided.
  15. I had a alpha-demo given by Winspan team.

  35.   I have a standard school internet account, and would like to use
  36. the Windows interface to get more out of the net.  Yet, I do not have
  37. a slip or ppp account.  Can I still use WinSock?  How?  I do not have
  38. root access and I don't believe they are offering slip accounts to
  39. students.  I have also used pcucp which is somewhat adequate, as it 
  40. gives me multiple windows, but it scrolls horribly (the whole screen
  41. flickers) and I would just assume use another term program.

  43.   Mac users have a program called Eudora which greatly improves the
  44. mail interface.  To my knowledge, they do not require a slip account.
  45. Is there anything I can use to do the same?
