- Information Industry,Taiwan. It support Winsock interface.
- But I think its application is good but NOT VERY GOOD except
- the FTP which support 2-remote-site file transfer
- and good user internace. Telnet provide Chinese code convert.
- Based on their previous product,WinNet,now talk is provided.

- Subject: Can I install Winsock?
-
- I have a standard school internet account, and would like to use
- the Windows interface to get more out of the net. Yet, I do not have
- a slip or ppp account. Can I still use WinSock? How? I do not have
- root access and I don't believe they are offering slip accounts to
- students. I have also used pcucp which is somewhat adequate, as it
- gives me multiple windows, but it scrolls horribly (the whole screen
- flickers) and I would just assume use another term program.
-
- Mac users have a program called Eudora which greatly improves the
- mail interface. To my knowledge, they do not require a slip account.
- Is there anything I can use to do the same?
